Dr. Ivette Cubas is a board-certified pediatrician with over two decades of experience providing family-centered care to children across South Florida. Known for her nurturing presence and commitment to whole-child wellness, she is fluent in English and Spanish and deeply values building lifelong relationships with families.

 She earned her medical degree from St. George’s University and completed her pediatric residency at the University at Buffalo’s Women & Children’s Hospital. She went on to pursue subspecialty training in pediatric nephrology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital before returning to community-based pediatric care, where she found her calling in primary care relationships.

 Dr. Cubas has held longstanding roles in well-respected pediatric practices, including Pediatric Associates, and most recently cared for families at Loving Care Pediatrics.

 In 2025, she joined Zest Pediatrics of Weston, where she continues her mission to provide deeply personalized care in a direct pediatric care model—offering families more time, easier access, and fewer systemic barriers.

She has a passion for parent education, breastfeeding support, and addressing pediatric obesity with a compassionate, preventative approach.

 Dr. Cubas is also an active educator, serving as a Clinical Affiliate Assistant Professor at the FAU Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine and precepting nurse practitioner and physician assistant students from Nova Southeastern University.

 She is a multi-year “Favorite Pediatrician” award recipient from Broward Family Life and was recently honored as FAU’s Outstanding Pediatric Preceptor in 2025.

 Outside of her professional life, Dr. Cubas enjoys time with her family and strives to treat every patient as she would her own. At Zest Pediatrics, she brings wisdom, warmth, and a strong clinical foundation to every visit.

Dr. Lourdes Travieso is a board-certified pediatrician with more than 15 years of experience caring for children and families in South Florida. Known for her warm, approachable style and bilingual care (English and Spanish), she is dedicated to building long-term, trusted relationships with the families she serves.

 Dr. Travieso earned her medical degree from Universidad Iberoamericana in the Dominican Republic and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Her professional journey includes over a decade at Pediatric Associates, several years providing virtual pediatric care through Amwell, and most recently, in-person care at Loving Care Pediatrics in Pembroke Pines.

 In 2025, Dr. Travieso joined Zest Pediatrics of Weston, where she provides personalized, accessible care in a direct pediatric care model—giving families more time, more connection, and fewer insurance-related frustrations. She is especially passionate about preventive care, parent education, and supporting the entire family unit through every stage of childhood.

 She remains active in the community as a volunteer pediatrician at St. John Bosco Clinic and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Florida Medical Association, and Florida Pediatric Society.

 Outside the office, Dr. Travieso enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Robert Piloto, an Internal Medicine concierge physician at The Cleveland Clinic, Fort Lauderdale and two daughters. She brings a mother’s heart and a clinician’s expertise to her work—making her a trusted partner in your parenting journey.
