Who we are
Zest Pediatric Network is the first concierge-style direct pediatric care network in the country. Our pediatricians prioritize patient relationships, unparalleled access to the doctor, convenience, and unhurried appointments. The way pediatrics should be.
The Zest model allows our doctors to pursue clinical interests and care for their patients in manners not readily available to pediatricians in a traditional office. This includes assisting families in the assessment of autism, coordinating care for children with complex needs, collaborating with childcare centers and schools, and much more

Our Pediatricians
Each of the Zest pediatricians who offer autism evaluations have received special training just for this purpose. This includes training to do virtual autism evaluations utilizing standardized assessment tools and innovative approaches. In addition, because we have several doctors performing assessments, they are able to provide you their collective insights for your child’s needs.
Our Autism Evaluation Process: Easy as 1-2-3-4!
Parent Questionnaire
A questionnaire regarding your child’s birth, medical and developmental history is provided. This document will be filled-out electronically by at least one parent or guardian and submitted for review prior to your first virtual appointment with the pediatrician. Additionally, any relevant previous medical records should also be obtained and forwarded for review. This can be discussed with your Zest pediatrician during your initial contact.
Evaluation
A virtual evaluation performed with at least one parent or guardian and your child during which a formal autism assessment will occur. This session will take approximately 60 to 90 minutes and may be separated into two appointment if needed. The autism evaluation process consists of two components:
(1) A diagnostic interview that goes into detail regarding the possible signs and symptoms associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
(2) Either the CARS2 (Childhood Autism Rating Scale, Second Edition) or TAP (TELE-ASD-PEDS) behavioral/observational assessments, based on your child’s age
Diagnosis
The pediatrician will review all the intake forms and evaluation materials, determine if your child meets criteria for an autism spectrum disorder diagnosis, and create your child’s individualized, recommended plan of care.
Care Plan Review
A second virtual visit with at least one parent or guardian to review your child’s assessment and if he/she meets the diagnosis of autism. Suggestions on care options will be discussed and you will be provided a copy of their care plan document.
Cost
The complete evaluation, diagnosis and care plan fee is $1,250 paid through our electronic platform. Credit card or ACH (bank transfer) payment is available. We do not bill insurance.
