Kimberly Roth, MD, MPH, FAAP

Dr. Kimberly Roth came to Zest Pediatrics of Wexford for one reason: to practice the kind of pediatrics she was trained to practice — where there is time to listen, time to educate, and time to build real relationships with the families she serves.
Dr. Roth has spent more than 20 years caring for children in the Pittsburgh area, building expertise across the full range of pediatric medicine. She trained at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, completing a residency in General Pediatrics followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. She also holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh, which led to leadership roles improving pediatric care in schools, communities, and emergency settings across the region. Since completing training, she has practiced emergency, acute care and primary care medicine.
She started her career in the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh emergency department. Her 12 years there sharpened her clinical instincts — she became highly skilled at evaluating and treating the whole spectrum of pediatric illness and injury in newborns to young adults. But she also came to understand that what families need most isn’t always just fast answers.
Dr. Roth transitioned to the community setting where she became adept at helping families manage illness and injury confidently at home. In this, she came to understand that the best way to keep patients healthy and out of the emergency department is to have a doctor who knows them well and has time to listen.
Direct pediatric care allows Dr. Roth to do exactly that.
Dr. Roth lives in the community she serves, with her husband and two teenage daughters. Outside the office, she enjoys family time, baking, and volunteering at Animal Friends.

One of our goals at Zest Pediatrics® is to make medical care as transparent as possible. This means no surprise medical bills. Unlike Insurance based medical care, our payment structure is simple. Based on the size of your family and ages of your children, your family is charged one monthly rate and that includes everything that our doctors do for you at the office. No co-pays for appointments or surprise charges for in office labs or forms. Just one straight-forward, simple monthly charge.
